What ADRODUB is
ADRODUB is a Chrome extension made by ADROLAB Inc., a company incorporated in the United States. It captures the audio of a browser tab you choose and speaks a machine translation of it out loud, using a Google Gemini API key that you supply. By installing or using it, you agree to these terms.
It is free, and provided as is
ADRODUB costs nothing. We give no warranty that it will be accurate, available, or fit for any particular purpose. Machine translation makes mistakes, sometimes serious ones.
Do not rely on it where accuracy matters
ADRODUB is for personal understanding. Do not use it as a substitute for a qualified human interpreter in medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or official settings. We are not liable for any decision made on the basis of a translation it produced.
Your Google key is your responsibility
You bring your own Google Gemini API key. Your use of Google's service is governed by Google's terms, and any charges Google applies to your key are between you and Google. Keep your key private. If it is stolen from your machine, that is outside our control.
Recording and copyright
You are responsible for having the right to listen to, translate and record whatever you dub. Some content and some meetings may not lawfully be recorded, and in many places you must tell people before recording them. Saving a transcript is your decision and your responsibility.
Fair use of the service
- Do not use ADRODUB to break the law or anyone's rights.
- Do not resell it, or present it as your own product.
- Do not try to bypass the paid features, and do not share an activation key. Keys are issued per person and we can revoke a key that is being shared.
- Do not attempt to disrupt our servers.
Paid features
Some features may require a paid plan. If and when we sell one, the price, what is included, and how to cancel will be shown before you pay. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell until then.
Our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ADROLAB Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, or costs charged to you by Google. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for ADRODUB, which for the free version is nothing.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by removing the extension. We may suspend access if these terms are broken, and we may discontinue ADRODUB at any time.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and any dispute will be resolved in the state and federal courts of Delaware.
